Senior Analyst, Procurement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Assist in sourcing, negotiating, and awarding purchase orders for materials, services, and supplies.

• Work collaboratively with material program managers, engineering, and planning teams to comprehend demand signals and implement procurement strategies.

• Create and uphold procurement documentation as per company policies, as well as FAR and DFARS requirements.

• Oversee supplier performance, identify potential risks or gaps, and help formulate corrective action plans.

• Employ ERP systems such as SAP to carry out procurement transactions, manage order statuses, and facilitate material flow.

• Relay order statuses, risks, and updates to internal stakeholders.

• Assist in supplier engagement activities, conduct supplier reviews, and manage internal reporting.

• Analyze procurement data to spot trends, aid decision-making, and suggest process enhancements.

• Support compliance efforts throughout the procurement lifecycle.

• Contribute to cross-functional Integrated Product Teams by providing procurement assistance and helping to resolve material-related issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree.

• Background in procurement, supply chain, or related business operations.

• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS or a willingness to acquire knowledge in this area.

• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations.

• Capability to read and comprehend technical specifications or engineering documentation.

• Experience in direct interactions with suppliers or managing supplier deliverables.

• Proficient with SAP or similar ERP systems.

• Strong analytical abilities with the skill to interpret data and generate insights.

• Proficient in preparing and delivering written or verbal updates to internal stakeholders.

• Experience in supporting cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
