Senior Strategic Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in developing architectural strategies for implementations that align with clients’ enterprise architecture, digital initiatives, and modernization plans.

• Assess Sureify product integrations with policy administration systems, distribution platforms, CRM, data platforms, and legacy carrier systems.

• Offer insights on architectural tradeoffs, integration patterns, and strategies for platform adoption.

• Act as a reliable technical advisor to client executives, enterprise architects, business partners, and technology leaders.

• Convert business goals and operational limitations into scalable architectural solutions.

• Direct decisions related to platform architecture, integration strategy, data flows, and system dependencies.

• Define and manage integration architectures that connect Sureify products with policy administration, underwriting, distribution, and enterprise data systems.

• Identify and mitigate risks stemming from legacy technology constraints, fragmented systems, and shifting carrier technology landscapes.

• Ensure that integration designs promote scalability, performance, and maintainability.

• Provide architectural leadership across large-scale transformation initiatives.

• Collaborate with Delivery teams to ensure designs are practical, executable, and compliant with project constraints.

• Recognize program-level risks, bottlenecks, and technical dependencies.

• Lead technical discovery and due diligence efforts in client environments and transformation objectives.

• Create solution architectures that balance client requirements, product capabilities, and implementation viability.

• Leverage expertise in the insurance and annuity technology ecosystem to contribute to repeatable solution patterns and implementation frameworks.

• Collaborate with Sureify Delivery, Product, and Engineering teams, as well as client architects, technical teams, and system integrators throughout implementations.

• Engage in solution discovery, implementation planning, and architectural governance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in enterprise software architecture, technical consulting, or large-scale platform implementations.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering complex integrated solutions across multiple enterprise systems.

• Experience collaborating directly with client executives, enterprise architects, and cross-functional delivery teams in significant technology transformation projects.

• Previous experience with SaaS platforms or enterprise software implementations in regulated industries is highly preferred.

• Strong comprehension of enterprise architecture and system integration patterns.

• Experience in designing architectures that integrate policy administration systems, CRM platforms, distribution or agent management systems, and enterprise data platforms.

• Familiarity with API-driven architectures, event-based integrations, and contemporary cloud-based SaaS platforms.

• Capacity to assess complex system environments and design scalable, maintainable solution architectures.

• Working knowledge of data architecture concepts and enterprise data flows.

• Deep familiarity with life insurance and annuity carrier technology ecosystems is strongly preferred.

• Experience with policy administration platforms, distribution systems, or customer engagement platforms.

• Understanding of carrier operational processes, including policy lifecycle, distribution management, and customer servicing.

• Ability to translate intricate technical concepts into clear architectural strategies and implementation plans.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the capability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.

• Ability to influence architectural decisions within client organizations and cross-functional teams.

• Skilled in navigating complex stakeholder environments and managing competing priorities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic perspective.

• Base annual salary ranging from $175,000 to $205,000 USD.

• Occasional travel to client sites to facilitate workshops, architecture reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
