This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and maintain adaptable financial models that encompass revenue and expense details, facilitate regional financial reporting, and analyze key performance indicator trends across various markets and service lines.
• Evaluate profitability metrics by product, payor mix, and other indicators to uncover growth prospects and enhance operational efficiencies.
• Lead the budgeting process, offering functional support on revenue, expenses, and headcount planning to budget holders throughout the organization.
• Oversee rolling and long-term forecast models, including the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
• Collaborate with key business stakeholders to grasp business drivers and conduct financial analyses that support decision-making processes.
• Report on and analyze new dimensions of profitability, including payor and business line aspects.
• Influence the future direction of the business through data-informed storytelling and insights that guide leadership choices.
• Partner with the accounting team to perform analyses and identify trends.
• Assist with special projects such as introducing new service offerings, expanding into new markets, and implementing operational efficiencies.
• Deliver monthly reporting packages and KPI dashboards for organizational leaders and the Board of Directors.
• Generate analyses to pinpoint strategic and growth opportunities, evaluate the competitive landscape, and formulate business cases.
• Convert operational insights into actionable recommendations by developing and monitoring KPIs to optimize resource allocation and minimize bottlenecks.
• Investigate, analyze, and assess acquisition opportunities.
• Create ad hoc financial models for strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with C-suite leaders on financial metrics that inform resource allocation, growth strategies, and risk management.
• Produce executive-level analyses that connect operational performance with financial outcomes.
• Support cross-functional initiatives that require financial modeling and operational insights.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Over 4 years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance.
• Capability to thrive in a small but expanding business environment.
• Familiarity with the telemedicine sector is highly advantageous.
• Experience with healthcare operations or regional healthcare business structures is beneficial.
• Advanced Excel skills essential for success in a Mac-based Google Sheets/Google Suite environment.
• Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools such as Looker; knowledge of SQL is a plus.
• Proven track record of producing, managing, and enhancing complex, dynamic financial models and performing scenario analyses.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and business judgment abilities.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Results-driven with meticulous attention to detail; capable of driving projects from inception to completion with minimal oversight.
• Proactive self-starter with a humble attitude, high accountability, and the resilience to acknowledge and rectify mistakes.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including senior management and C-suite audiences.
• Adaptability to prioritize and reprioritize tasks on short notice.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous situations, acting autonomously, and creating solutions from the ground up in a rapidly growing startup environment.
