This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Develop new opportunities with large enterprises, regulated organizations, and public-sector accounts to establish a pipeline across the DACH region.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from sourcing and qualification to discovery, business case development, negotiation, and closing deals.
• Transform customer interest into pilot programs, support agreements, and enterprise platform opportunities.
• Operate across various target segments and account types instead of being restricted to a predefined account list.
• Collaborate with the Business Development Lead DACH to align on market priorities, identify top opportunities, engage executives, and formulate deal strategies.
• Partner with Solutions Engineering for technical discovery, validation, pilot projects, and planning customer rollouts.
• Interact with CIOs, CISOs, enterprise architects, workplace leaders, procurement teams, and compliance stakeholders.
• Create customer-specific value propositions focused on security, operational confidence, deployment flexibility, and trust.
• Enhance the regional sales approach by determining which messages, use cases, and segments yield the quickest conversions.
• Advocate for Mozilla’s values during customer interactions.
• Extensive experience in enterprise SaaS, infrastructure, security, or platform sales.
• Proven success in building pipelines and closing complex enterprise transactions.
• Experience managing full-cycle sales processes in developing markets or segments.
• Confidence in engaging with senior business stakeholders and technical decision-makers.
• Strong commercial acumen along with the ability to qualify, prioritize, and expedite deals.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to create structure during the sales process.
• Experience collaborating closely with technical pre-sales or solutions engineering teams.
• Ability to convey value beyond mere feature comparisons, particularly in areas of security, resilience, and strategic differentiation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German (native proficiency).
• Passion for privacy, open source, and technology that serves the public interest.
• Nice to have: experience selling to financial services, insurance, public sector, utilities, or critical infrastructure sectors.
• Nice to have: familiarity with enterprise browsers, endpoint security, Zero Trust, secure access, or digital workplace categories.
• Nice to have: experience in new market entry, early-stage commercial development, or category creation.
• Nice to have: understanding of European procurement dynamics and multi-stakeholder buying processes.
