📋 Description

• Design and implement software storage management systems for NVIDIA's global design engineering teams.

• Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to establish new features for distributed software storage systems.

• Create and develop scalable, distributed storage management system solutions using Perl and Python.

• Work closely with team members and internal stakeholders to enhance workflow efficiency and scalability.

• Lead enhancements to software design and testing processes to increase velocity and ensure high production quality.

• Contribute to the overall quality of products and expedite the time to market for next-generation hardware products and technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in Linux software development, storage systems, and networked distributed systems.

• Strong grasp of storage concepts including volumes, snapshots, clones, and deduplication.

• Capability to influence architectural design decisions based on data and estimates to achieve an optimal balance of cost, performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and customers to synchronize on testing and adoption strategies.

• Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in development with Perl and Python.

• MS (preferred) or BS in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Over 5 years of relevant experience.

• Familiarity with NetApp systems and ASIC workflow.

• Exposure to Cursor AI.

• Previous experience in infrastructure software, production application software development, and release and support methodologies utilizing DevOps tools and approaches.

• Experience in managing data centers and large-scale distributed computing and storage systems.

• Proven track record of driving process improvements, measuring efficiency, collaborating, and managing complex projects from inception to completion.
