Senior Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of customer or business issues from start to finish throughout production.

• Develop solutions and establish acceptance criteria.

• Create data models and services.

• Deliver features across backend, API, and frontend platforms.

• Design robust and scalable data models, APIs, and services for intricate construction-domain data.

• Make product and interface decisions utilizing the design system.

• Collaborate with Product and Design on key strategic projects.

• Work together with Product, Design, and Data teams to convert business challenges into delivered features.

• Architect and implement modular packages and services within the monorepo.

• Engage in trunk-based development with daily releases.

• Manage Cypress E2E tests and uphold standards for typing, linting, and formatting.

• Deploy applications to AWS using Kubernetes, with infrastructure managed via Terraform.

• Contribute to open discussions and provide constructive feedback during code reviews.

• Extensive professional experience in building, delivering, and maintaining complex web applications.

• Essential experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.

• Proficient in shipping across the entire stack.

• Experienced in transitioning features from loosely defined concepts to real user applications.

• Capable of independently determining scope and acceptance criteria.

• In-depth backend engineering expertise in data models, APIs, and services.

• Prioritize performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Make sound interface decisions without needing detailed specifications.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making product-focused decisions.

• Strong problem-solving skills in complex systems.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Bonus: experience in delivering AI-powered features, including LLMs or agents.

• Bonus: familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
