This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Assist in the programming deliverables for a clinical study or project.
• Execute statistical programming components of protocols and clinical development initiatives.
• Maintain high quality in personal deliverables as well as in the work completed by fellow programmers.
• Program autonomously while ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Draft and/or implement specifications, ensuring the thoroughness of relevant documentation.
• Contribute to best practices aimed at enhancing quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Guarantee adherence to standards and the utilization of automation.
• Organize and assist with team activities and assignments.
• Communicate and escalate potential risks associated with assigned studies and/or projects.
• Collaborate proactively with Statisticians, Lead Programmers, Data Managers, Study Leaders, and other members of the study team.
• Operate under the guidance, supervision, and direction of a Programming team leader.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science (CS), statistics, or a related scientific field with 5 years of clinical programming (CDISC) experience, or a Master’s degree in CS, statistics, or related fields with 6 years of clinical programming (CDISC) experience.
• Experience in the Oncology therapeutic area (TA).
• Familiarity with ICH and Good Clinical Practices, clinical research, the clinical trial process, and associated regulatory requirements and terminology.
• Solid understanding of the clinical drug development process.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Up-to-date knowledge of technical and regulatory requirements pertinent to the role.
• Capability to proactively manage multiple activities within a project.
• Strong ability to influence key stakeholders on programming-related matters.
