This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Participate in the verification of next-generation RAIN RFID Reader ICs throughout all stages of product development.
• Establish and enhance verification methodologies and infrastructure.
• Create bus functional models, subsystem behavioral models, RTL code, and SystemVerilog testbenches.
• Author and execute directed as well as constrained-random tests to ensure thorough functional coverage.
• Set verification coverage metrics to guarantee high-quality IC tape-out.
• Develop SystemVerilog assertions, coverage monitors, and detailed testing plans.
• Build CI/CD workflows and custom toolkits for automation and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with logic, analog, test, and systems engineering teams to deliver features and products.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing RAIN RFID products through feature and performance enhancements.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 12 years of experience, or 8 years with a Master’s degree, or 5 years with a PhD is required.
• Over 12 years of experience in RTL verification.
• Proven experience in verifying microcontroller microarchitectures and complex finite-state machines.
• Experience in creating and implementing RTL functional verification test plans.
• Proficiency in defining and developing bus functional models, subsystem behavioral models, and architectural checkers.
• Expertise in SystemVerilog and Universal Verification Methodology (UVM).
• Practical experience in developing SV assertions, reusable sequences, and coverage monitors.
• Capability to guide complex designs from conception through tape-out and production.
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems and RTL coverage tools.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Ruby, or UNIX shell.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
