Senior Staff Product Manager, Developer Portal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the self-service experience for the Konnect Developer Portal, which includes application registration, credential management, team oversight, and environment management.

• Spearhead product discovery initiatives and shape the roadmap for multi-runtime access control across API, AI, and event gateways.

• Oversee the lifecycle management of APIs and AI products.

• Propel the productization and monetization of API and AI offerings.

• Enhance the onboarding process and decrease friction and time to value for product-led growth as well as enterprise clients.

• Collaborate with design, engineering, go-to-market teams, and customers to define and deliver impactful features.

• Conduct user research, synthesize feedback, and transform it into clear requirements and prioritization strategies.

• Establish and monitor KPIs for product health, user adoption, and revenue generation.

• Facilitate communication across various functions and product lines, align stakeholders, and clarify trade-offs.

• Report directly to Jason Harmon, Director of Product Management.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6 to 8 years of experience in product management within B2B SaaS, developer tooling, or platform products.

• Strong empathy for developers, with practical experience in building or supporting tools and APIs aimed at developers.

• A solid understanding of what drives productive agentic workflows.

• Proven track record in delivering complex product surfaces that encompass frontend user experience, backend integrations, and system architecture.

• Excellent collaboration skills, particularly with design and engineering teams.

• Capability to define and measure success metrics linked to product outcomes and business objectives, such as impact on ARR.

• Familiarity with git workflows, CLI tools, Markdown documentation, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Preferred: Over 5 years of experience in creating user experiences focused on developers.

• Preferred: Background with APIs, AI, and developers as the primary target audience, or additional experience as a practitioner.

• Preferred: Experience with API management and gateway platforms, either as a product manager or practitioner.

• Preferred: Experience utilizing AI to streamline product management and development processes.
