Senior Staff Product Manager, Browser Control Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Finland.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the common foundation and the essential components it provides to other software, ensuring their reliability and security.

• Advance the open standard (WebDriver BiDi) while creating unique advantages for Firefox that the standard may not address.

• Develop safety mechanisms that allow individuals to approve actions, monitor software activities on their behalf, and regain control when necessary.

• Establish the strategy for integrating popular third-party AI assistants that users are already familiar with.

• Support internal teams (Smart Window, New Products) and external tools through a unified shared layer.

• Promote adoption across teams and tools, enhance platform usage, and maintain ongoing reliability and security.

⛳️ Requirements

• A product-focused engineer or a highly technical project manager capable of steering a technical product.

• Experience in the developer space, with the ability to consider both consumer and internal platforms.

• Proficient in establishing strategies amidst uncertainty; responsible for a technical contract that other teams rely on.

• Strong instincts regarding security and trustworthiness.

• Preferred: familiarity with web standards, MCP, and browser automation.
