Senior Product Manager, Reporting & Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the product vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap for Nextech's reporting, analytics, and AI-driven insights portfolio within financial and clinical sectors.

• Establish investment, sequencing, and prioritization guidelines based on client value and business impact.

• Formulate the analytics and insights strategy, incorporating proactive AI-driven insights.

• Manage and prioritize the portfolio backlog while making data-informed trade-offs.

• Ensure the ethical and compliant use of AI and client data.

• Collaborate with Data Engineering on lakehouse medallion layers, data warehouses, data marts, ELT/ETL pipelines, semantic and metrics layers, and embedded analytics.

• Convert the data architecture vision into a scalable product roadmap.

• Facilitate structured discovery sessions with providers, practice administrators, revenue cycle leaders, and clinical staff.

• Translate client learnings into actionable delivery decisions, validating direction through prototypes, pilots, and design partnerships.

• Create product requirements, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflow documentation.

• Collaborate with engineering on technical trade-offs, dependencies, sequencing, and refinement.

• Keep a well-maintained, groomed backlog.

• Lead cross-functional implementation of reporting and analytics capabilities.

• Energize engineering and design teams, eliminate obstacles, manage dependencies, and mentor product practices.

• Define and report on financial and clinical KPIs, including revenue cycle performance, charge capture, charge lag, accounts receivable aging, denials, net collection rate, underpayment detection, and clinical quality measures.

• Connect product outcomes to adoption, retention, revenue, and efficiency improvements.

• Collaborate with Commercial teams on positioning, packaging, launch, and adoption strategies.

• Leverage data and market insights to drive prioritization and evaluate product-market fit.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of product management experience, particularly in managing reporting, analytics, or data-driven products.

• Proven fluency in financial outcomes and KPIs in non-acute, ambulatory, or specialty healthcare settings.

• Demonstrated success in achieving measurable results in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

• Familiarity with modern data architecture, including data warehouses, data marts, ELT/ETL pipelines, semantic and metrics layers, and embedded business intelligence.

• Knowledgeable about data lake and lakehouse architecture and the medallion model.

• Strong ownership in crafting clear product requirements and driving refinement with engineering teams.

• Proven capability to conduct rapid client discovery leading to actionable delivery decisions.

• Solid understanding of AI and machine learning concepts as applied to analytics and insight generation.

• Ability to motivate engineering and design teams while influencing cross-functional collaboration without direct authority.

• Experience in Agile environments.

• Excellent analytical and written communication skills.

• Strong foundational knowledge of SQL: SELECT, WHERE, JOIN, GROUP BY, HAVING, and ORDER BY.

• Good understanding of relational database fundamentals.

• Practical experience implementing agentic AI product workflows with human approval checkpoints.

• Documented success in adopting and utilizing AI in daily operations.

• Preferred: Experience in healthcare technology, EHR, revenue cycle management, or ambulatory/specialty care.

• Preferred: Hands-on experience with Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or Sigma.

• Preferred: Experience in delivering AI- or LLM-powered analytics or insight features.

• Preferred: Background in specialty practice.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Jira.

• Preferred: Advanced degree (MBA or in a technical/analytics discipline).
