Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Open Mainframe Solutions and Initiatives.

• Act as the primary link between market/business needs and R&D.

• Champion Open Mainframe Initiatives both internally and externally.

• Collaborate with Product Owners and Architecture teams to prioritize features.

• Convert customer requirements into functional stories and investigate opportunities in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

• Recognize and eliminate obstacles across cross-functional teams.

• Spearhead Go-To-Market initiatives to enhance product adoption.

• Evaluate success through key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Present product strategy to executive stakeholders at the CXO level.

• Foster relationships with customers, partners, and software service providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

• Over 12 years of experience in product/service/project/program management or enterprise software development.

• Profound understanding of the mainframe software industry, Open Source projects, community initiatives, and current transformation trends.

• Extensive knowledge of software solutions based on open technologies such as Linux, GIT, Python, and others.

• Advanced comprehension of B2B business models, software licensing, and product delivery.

• Proven track record in managing complex, cross-functional, and cross-disciplinary projects, along with strong stakeholder management abilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a history of successful presentations at the executive level.
