This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Design and swiftly prototype AI agent systems, including those based on large language models (LLM), multi-agent configurations, and agentic workflow structures.
β’ Collaborate closely with Fortune 500 stakeholders to gain insights into data ecosystems, identify governance challenges, and align with business objectives.
β’ Convert customer requirements into technical roadmaps that leverage Alation's Knowledge Layer capabilities.
β’ Develop and implement business intelligence (BI) and machine learning (ML) pipelines that transform cataloged data into high-level insights suitable for executives.
β’ Work alongside Deployment Strategists to link technical implementations with quantifiable business results.
β’ Establish repeatable and scalable solution patterns for Forward Deployed Engineering and Deployment Strategist teams.
β’ Supply customer edge cases, patterns, and AI use cases to inform Product and Engineering roadmaps.
β’ Create and develop internal tools, accelerators, automation frameworks, and reusable components.
β’ Perform competitive analysis and deliver actionable insights to Product and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams.
β’ Guide field engineers and customer-side technical teams on agentic AI, data governance, and the architecture of the Alation platform.
β’ Over 12 years of experience in software engineering, including significant tenure in customer-facing technical leadership roles such as Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), Solutions Architect, or equivalent positions in the CTO's office.
β’ Extensive hands-on experience with LLM orchestration frameworks like LangChain, AutoGen, and CrewAI.
β’ Familiarity with vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures, and fine-tuning machine learning models for enterprise applications.
β’ A proven history of delivering large-scale BI and data pipeline solutions.
β’ Expertise in SQL, cloud data warehousing, and predictive modeling techniques.
β’ Strong architectural knowledge across distributed systems, enterprise data governance, metadata management, and compliance-grade data platforms.
β’ Demonstrated ability to write production-quality code quickly and iterate efficiently.
β’ History of influencing delivery methodologies, solution patterns, or technical standards beyond individual projects.
β’ Executive presence and high emotional intelligence (EQ), with the capability to build trust with Fortune 500 Chief Data Officers (CDOs) and technical stakeholders.
