Senior Staff Engineer, ServiceNow – HAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Execute ServiceNow solutions across international locations in collaboration with the ServiceNow team.

• Offer technical expertise in ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) modules, encompassing Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM).

• Design, develop, and implement integrations within the ServiceNow platform.

• Assess business requirements and align them with standardized processes and solution architecture.

• Create and implement technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

• Conduct component integration testing to ensure quality delivery of solutions.

• Configure and tailor ServiceNow applications according to business needs.

• Implement configuration modifications utilizing UI Policies, UI Actions, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Jelly Scripting, and AngularJS.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee successful project completion.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on the ServiceNow platform.

• Maintain compliance with ServiceNow best practices and engage in continuous improvement efforts.

• Take part in design and code reviews, offering technical insights and recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of relevant experience.

• Extensive knowledge in ServiceNow IT Asset Management, including HAM, SAM, IT Service Management (ITSM), and integrations.

• Practical experience in designing and implementing ServiceNow integrations.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow Asset Management processes and industry best practices.

• Knowledge of IT Operations Management (ITOM) or Customer Service Management (CSM) modules, along with ITIL principles.

• ServiceNow SPM certification is a must.

• Strong comprehension of ITAM, HAM, SAM, and ITSM modules.

• Capability to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Experience in developing and implementing technical solutions, as well as conducting integration testing.

• Practical knowledge of ServiceNow scripting, which includes Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Jelly Scripting, and AngularJS.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Adaptability to work in a global delivery environment.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
