Senior Staff Engineer, Oracle Fusion HCM – Fast Formulas Payroll

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Serve as an Oracle Fusion HCM Technical Consultant responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and supporting Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud solutions.

• Create and implement scalable solutions in areas such as Core HR, Talent Management, Recruiting, Workforce Compensation, Payroll, and Benefits.

• Develop, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot HDL, HSDL, HCM Extracts, Fast Formula, BI Publisher reports, and OTBI analyses.

• Design and create solutions for HCM data migration, transformation, validation, and outbound data extraction.

• Develop and support OIC integrations between Oracle Fusion HCM and third-party or internal applications.

• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to evaluate requirements and suggest technical solutions.

• Ensure that solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security, scalability, performance, and maintainability standards.

• Assist with Oracle quarterly updates through impact analysis, regression testing, and technical remediation.

• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective measures.

• Design and carry out unit, system, integration, and regression testing.

• Support deployment and release activities across development, testing, UAT, and production environments.

• Prepare and maintain documentation for requirements, technical design, integration, testing, deployment, and support.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and engage in discussions about technical solutions.

• Ensure compliance with technical governance, development standards, security practices, change management, and implementation methodologies.

• Conduct reviews of solution designs and contribute to architectural discussions.

• Mentor junior technical consultants and encourage knowledge sharing and best practices.

• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, developers, testers, business users, and client stakeholders.

• Identify areas for automation, process enhancement, performance optimization, and improved technical capabilities.

• Take ownership of technical deliverables, ensuring high-quality outcomes within agreed timelines and client expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in Oracle HCM technical development.

• Strong hands-on experience in the technical implementation and development of Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud.

• Significant experience in developing and supporting HCM Extracts for outbound data and third-party integrations.

• Extensive experience in Fast Formula development related to Payroll and troubleshooting.

• In-depth technical expertise across Oracle Fusion HCM modules, including Core HR, Talent Management, Recruiting, Workforce Compensation, Payroll, and Benefits.

• Strong hands-on experience with HCM Data Loader (HDL) and HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader (HSDL).

• Practical experience with BI Publisher reports, templates, and OTBI analyses and dashboards.

• Proficient in designing and supporting Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations.

• Experience with technical solution design, integration architecture, data conversion, reporting, and system interfaces.

• Familiarity with supporting Oracle quarterly updates, including impact analysis, regression testing, technical change identification, and remediation.

• Ability to convert functional requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.

• Experience in unit testing, integration testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis.

• Background in Agile methodologies and Agile project environments.

• Strong skills in systems documentation.

• Experience with change management and release management processes.

• Global HCM implementation/support experience is preferred.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

• Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to collaborate across different geographies and organizational levels.

• Availability for a shift from 5 PM to 2:00 AM IST.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
