Senior Staff Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Enhance engineering and data enrichment pipelines throughout the organization.

• Develop comprehensive observability for pipelines, covering both technical performance and business impact.

• Establish actionable metrics and alerts that proactively identify potential failures.

• Standardize reusable pipelines for various products, ensuring clear contracts and secure reprocessing.

• Optimize Python code to guarantee scalability and computational efficiency.

• Predict capacity and cost constraints, aiding growth and new customer decisions with data insights.

• Assess and choose architectural solutions, considering cost, complexity, and reversibility.

• Ensure validation and robust cloud architecture for implemented solutions.

• Collaborate with various teams to facilitate new product development and maintain data quality.

• Sustain the technology foundation that allows Arvo to process health data accurately and at scale.

• Serve as a technical facilitator across different sectors of the company.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience as a Senior Data Engineer with considerable autonomy.

• Demonstrated success in building data platforms.

• Advanced skills in Python programming.

• Strong foundational knowledge in data architecture and cloud infrastructure.

• Experience in deploying applications and system optimization.

• Official Google Cloud Platform (GCP) certification — preferred.

• Hybrid profile with experience in Software Engineering or Machine Learning — preferred.

• Degree in computer science or a related field — preferred.
