Senior Staff Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop backend systems and APIs, ideally using Python, to execute real-time, mission-critical accounting operations.

• Deliver features from start to finish, encompassing architecture, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), testing, monitoring, and more.

• Seamlessly integrate third-party applications and external systems while proactively addressing edge cases and managing risk.

• Deploy on a daily basis and iterate rapidly in a dynamic and pragmatic engineering environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend engineering.

• Experience in backend engineering that is language-agnostic.

• Extensive knowledge of complex business logic products.

• Strong database expertise, including PostgreSQL, SQL, ORMs, migrations, and schema design.

• Experience with deployment on AWS or similar cloud services.

• Solid understanding of CI/CD and principles of production readiness.

• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with modern web frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django is a plus.

• A strong work ethic and a high degree of personal agency.
