Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design and execute multi-file coding tasks that encompass bug fixing, feature development, refactoring, and testing.

• Draft clear specifications in natural language along with corresponding reference implementations.

• Create and enhance unit and integration test suites.

• Assess peer-generated tasks for accuracy, clarity, and feasibility.

• Detect edge cases, ambiguities, and possible failure modes.

• Ensure that specifications, code, and expected outputs are in alignment.

• Develop high-quality coding tasks that are realistic for production environments.

• Generate complete and accurate reference implementations.

• Provide substantial test coverage and validation artifacts.

• Offer structured and actionable feedback during peer reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in written English at a professional level.

• 2–5 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Strong expertise in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Familiarity with Java, C#, or Go.

• Experience in backend or full-stack development within production systems.

• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.

• Demonstrated ability to debug and navigate extensive, multi-file codebases.

• Experience with code reviews, refactoring, and migrations in production environments.
