Senior Staff Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Manage lawsuits related to No-Fault claims, property damage claims, and motor vehicle accidents autonomously.

• Address more intricate legal issues.

• Create pleadings, written discovery, and motions independently.

• Perform legal research and independently devise and present defense strategies for clients.

• Evaluate substantive and procedural legal and factual matters.

• Offer timely communication, legal counsel, and additional services to clients and claims customers on legal and factual concerns.

• Interact with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel.

• Efficiently and effectively resolve assigned cases in a prompt manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in legal litigation.

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from a recognized law school.

• Valid license to practice law in New York State.

• Good standing member of the New York State Bar.

• Familiarity with New York Supreme and Civil courts.

• Strong skills in legal research and writing.

• Excellent organizational abilities with a talent for prioritizing tasks.

• Proficient communication, computer, and technological skills.

• Ability to swiftly adapt to new software.
