Senior SRE, Cloud & DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Provide support, ensure the reliability of, and enhance critical, highly available environments.

• Act as a technical advisor for establishing infrastructure and platform standards, architectures, and best practices.

• Design, provision, and manage infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.

• Work extensively with Terraform to standardize and automate infrastructure processes.

• Implement, manage, and advance Kubernetes- and container-based environments.

• Automate operational processes, including provisioning, configuration, deployments, and infrastructure routines.

• Create, maintain, and enhance Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Oversee and develop Cloud and multicloud environments spanning AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Deploy and enhance monitoring and observability solutions, such as metrics, logs, tracing, dashboards, and alerts.

• Troubleshoot issues in distributed environments, applications, and infrastructure.

• Analyze and resolve incidents, determine root causes, and establish preventive measures.

• Support efforts to modernize and migrate on-premises environments to the Cloud.

• Engage in technical decision-making and the advancement of infrastructure and platform architecture.

• Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving performance, scalability, availability, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Development, Security, and Data teams to promote best practices in reliability and automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency with Cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Familiarity with AWS services, including EC2, EKS, ECS, RDS, and VPC.

• Experience with containers and orchestration technologies: Docker and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code practices, specifically Terraform.

• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment and DevOps practices, including Azure DevOps and pipeline automation.

• Proficiency with observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, and Prometheus.

• Familiarity with quality and security tools like SonarQube and integrating controls into CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience in automation using Shell scripting.

• Understanding of SQL.

• Knowledge of Cloud architecture and distributed environments.

• Familiarity with Service Mesh concepts.

• Understanding of FinOps practices and strategies for Cloud cost optimization.
