Manager, Technology Delivery – ADO/DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and supervise the agile software development team.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, timelines, plans, and resource allocation.

• Track project progress to ensure timely and successful software delivery.

• Provide technical expertise on architecture, coding standards, troubleshooting, data management, DevOps, software design, and testing.

• Promote professional development through mentoring, coaching, training, and career advancement opportunities.

• Encourage collaboration and communication within the team and with stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with code reviews, testing strategies, quality assurance, and software quality standards.

• Identify project risks and devise mitigation and contingency plans.

• Engage with product owners, business leaders, and other teams to provide updates and address any concerns.

• Analyze feedback, data, and metrics to foster continuous improvement in processes, tools, and team performance.

• Direct, coach, mentor, and develop staff while ensuring adherence to processes and procedures.

• Manage interviewing, hiring, promotions, transfers, performance evaluations, compensation, counseling, and termination of staff.

• Support staff development through training and leadership for internal growth and advancement.

• Ensure responsibilities are executed in accordance with department performance standards.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• Seven (7) years of experience in a software development role or as a developer subject matter expert.

• Previous experience with Azure DevOps pipelines is essential.

• Three (3) years of Resource Management experience is required.

• Five (5) years in a senior or subject matter expert role is necessary.

• Experienced in coaching and guiding Agile Scrum teams.
