This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers and act as a liaison to healthcare professionals.
• Offer up-to-date and thorough clinical insights on Amgen products.
• Articulate the clinical and economic advantages of products to healthcare providers.
• Execute marketing strategies and advocate for Amgen products as directed by the District Manager.
• Convey branded sales messages and carry out established programs.
• Organize and follow up on medical education initiatives.
• Meet or surpass sales targets within the designated territory.
• Manage and service accounts, ensuring product accessibility, addressing or triaging reimbursement concerns, and upholding product contracts.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of sales initiatives and territory performance.
• Collaborate with the District Manager to develop territory plans.
• Work alongside colleagues to exchange best practices and foster continuous learning.
• Keep abreast of disease-state awareness, industry, regulatory, and competitive developments to achieve results.
• Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sectors, or hospital sales experience; OR an Associate degree with 6 years of sales experience in the same fields; OR a high school diploma/GED with 8 years of relevant sales experience.
• Previous product or hospital sales experience in pertinent specialty areas is preferred.
• Familiarity with the local market is preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration is advantageous.
