This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Meet annual revenue, consumables, and growth objectives within the designated territory.
• Formulate and implement strategic business plans aimed at enhancing Illumina's reproductive and genetic health presence throughout India.
• Recognize, evaluate, and secure new business prospects across hospitals, diagnostic labs, fertility clinics, genetic testing facilities, and healthcare organizations.
• Foster instrument placements, consumable usage, and ongoing revenue growth.
• Cultivate relationships with clinicians, specialists, geneticists, laboratory directors, and key opinion leaders.
• Design and execute initiatives to generate demand, boosting awareness and adoption of genomic testing solutions.
• Organize and assist in scientific meetings, workshops, CMEs, roundtables, webinars, and educational initiatives.
• Collaborate with clients to enhance clinical adoption and use of genomic testing services.
• Promote the adoption of Illumina sequencing platforms, library preparation solutions, and relevant workflows.
• Support the comprehensive genomics workflow from sample preparation through sequencing and analysis.
• Partner with application and technical teams for customer onboarding and workflow enhancement.
• Advocate for new products, applications, and innovative workflow solutions.
• Lead the commercialization of novel reproductive and genetic health applications and solutions.
• Identify new market opportunities and devise strategies for testing adoption.
• Establish partnerships with healthcare institutions, laboratory networks, and professional organizations.
• Supply market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to inform business planning and portfolio expansion.
• Manage strategic accounts and key stakeholder relationships.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Clinical Applications, Service, Technical Support, and Commercial Operations teams.
• Work alongside channel partners and distributors to optimize market reach and customer success.
• Maintain opportunity management, forecasting, and CRM documentation.
• Master's degree or PhD in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Genomics, or a related field.
• Advanced scientific or business degree is preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in genomics, molecular diagnostics, reproductive health, clinical diagnostics, life sciences, or related healthcare sectors.
• A proven record in sales, business development, market development, or commercial positions.
• Experience in engaging with clinicians, healthcare providers, service providers, and healthcare institutions.
• Strong grasp of genomics technologies, sequencing workflows, and clinical applications.
• Commercial insight and strategic mindset.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing capabilities.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to convert scientific knowledge into business opportunities.
• Strong collaboration and cross-functional leadership abilities.
• Customer-oriented with a results-driven approach.
