Senior Specialist, Epic Solution Delivery

📋 Description

• Deliver expert-level assistance across various Epic modules.

• Conduct intricate workflow evaluations and recommend advanced Epic solutions for customized workflows or integrations.

• Review and analyze comprehensive requirements to guarantee effective implementation of solutions.

• Aid project management through planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for Epic implementation initiatives.

• Lead smaller projects and development efforts within Epic applications.

• Oversee specific features, smaller development tasks, and the configuration and design for modules or advanced functionalities.

• Mentor Analysts and Senior Analysts on project tasks, troubleshooting, and Epic configurations.

• Execute thorough testing and validation to ensure systems align with user requirements.

• Identify and resolve complex issues autonomously.

• Collaborate directly with clients and internal stakeholders to comprehend and fulfill system requirements.

• Transfer knowledge and provide training to end-users on developed solutions.

• Offer innovative suggestions to enhance system efficiency and user experience.

• Provide regular feedback to Epic regarding potential system enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in healthcare IT, Epic product development, and/or enterprise software delivery.

• More than 5 years of Epic experience, with a profound understanding of Epic system configurations, workflows, and best practices.

• An Associate’s Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Informatics, or related fields, or equivalent experience.

• Advanced knowledge of the Epic system and extensive technical expertise across multiple Epic modules.

• Capability to take initiative and lead smaller project teams and development efforts independently.

• Strong project management abilities, including progress reporting, risk management, and time tracking.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for client-facing roles and team leadership.

• Willingness and capability to adapt to rapid changes in scheduling, workflows, policies, or processes.

• Epic certification in one or more relevant applications, completed and maintained.
