This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with sales partners to create strategies and campaigns for territory and accounts.
• Comprehend customer needs related to security architectures in data center, cloud, and enterprise settings.
• Monitor and document various aspects of the sales process, including responsibilities of the Sales Engineer.
• Direct proof-of-concept and proof-of-value initiatives.
• Prepare and conduct technical presentations that elucidate products and services for customers.
• Secure orders, ensure compliance with product standards, and guarantee product delivery.
• Propose new and improved products while illustrating their cost-effectiveness.
• Engage actively with the larger technical team by sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Collaborate with Federal prospects and customers across the U.S., aligning their objectives and needs with SentinelOne's offerings.
• Initially assist customers through implementation, transitioning primarily to a pre-sales engineering role.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, ideally in endpoint cyber defense.
• Proven experience in handling objections and positioning against competing technologies.
• Experience in addressing both small and large audiences effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to lead business and technical presentations, demonstrations, and discussions with both executives and technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success in selling to large and intricate customer organizations.
• Capability to provide first-level technical support throughout the sales process.
• Fundamental knowledge of hacking tools and methodologies, detection evasion techniques, and prominent malware and anti-malware solutions and strategies.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Preferred experience in computer forensics, security architecture, penetration testing or red teaming, or incident response.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; SentinelOne is part of the E-Verify Program for all U.S. positions.
