This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to discover, qualify, and secure new enterprise logos and expansion opportunities.
• Facilitate technical exploration, solution architecture, demonstrations, and proofs-of-concept.
• Create Tailscale architectures for hybrid, multi-cloud, and on-premises settings, incorporating identity-based access and secure connectivity methods.
• Integrate Tailscale PAM for identity-aware access with session recording, and utilize Aperture as an AI gateway for LLM/API access.
• Convert technical capabilities into business value, focusing on security results, operational simplicity, and time-to-value.
• Act as a trusted advisor in multi-stakeholder deals and assist in implementation with Customer Success.
• Aid in security assessments and enterprise diligence, including architecture evaluations, questionnaires, and compliance conversations.
• Supply structured feedback to Product, Engineering, and GTM teams based on enterprise use cases, obstacles, and competitive dynamics.
• Develop reusable demo environments, solution blueprints, and enablement materials.
• Remain informed on zero-trust networking, privileged access, identity integrations, cloud networking, and AI access/governance.
• 5–7+ years of experience in a customer-facing Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Architect position within networking, security, infrastructure, or related enterprise software.
• Demonstrated experience co-owning pipeline and influencing quota results with Sales for new business and expansion.
• Profound understanding of zero-trust networking, secure connectivity, and IAM integrations (SSO, SAML, OIDC, SCIM).
• Strong networking fundamentals and diagnostic skills: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, NAT traversal, TLS/HTTPS, and related concepts.
• Practical systems administration and troubleshooting experience across Linux and at least one of macOS or Windows.
• Hands-on architectural experience with AWS, GCP, and/or Azure, including hybrid environments.
• Experience managing cloud and network infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform for policy/ACL; relevant options include Pulumi, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
• Exceptional communication skills, able to articulate complex systems clearly and translate technical features into business value for both practitioners and executives.
• Experience conducting technical evaluations, tailored demos, and POCs in enterprise or upper mid-market settings.
• Comfort in a high-growth, fully distributed environment with a high level of ownership and competing priorities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, roughly 10–20%, for customer meetings, workshops, and internal collaborations.
