Senior Solutions Engineer – Distributed Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist the sales team by providing technical expertise and knowledge regarding F5 Distributed Cloud.

• Meet designated sales objectives by promoting F5 Distributed Cloud solutions.

• Gain insights into customers’ technical and business challenges.

• Suggest effective solutions to resolve customer issues.

• Present technical capabilities and business advantages through technical value propositions.

• Clearly communicate F5 product strategy, messaging, positioning, value proposition, and solutions.

• Offer technical insights through sales presentations, solution designs, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.

• Conduct presentations both in person and virtually, including whiteboarding sessions.

• Assess opportunity viability and analyze organizational structures.

• Collaborate with the Account Manager to facilitate the sales process.

• Identify Technical Decision Makers and secure their technical validation, support, and endorsement.

• Provide customer service throughout the entire customer lifecycle.

• Work together with internal technical and sales teams to share best practices and expertise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in secure cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, GCP, or other public cloud environments.

• Experience with CI/CD processes, including automation of build and test pipelines using GitOps and Jenkins.

• Expertise in multi-cloud design.

• Familiarity with cloud instrumentation and configuration management tools such as GKE, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.

• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Datadog, and Grafana.

• Background in software development with Go, Python, Ruby, and scripting languages.

• Over 8 years of relevant industry experience.

• BS/BA degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience with F5 or similar industry solutions is advantageous.

• Relevant certifications are beneficial.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time and work across different time zones.
