Senior Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Lead discussions for discovery, process assessments, and solution design to comprehend business requirements and pinpoint root causes.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to convert operational challenges into analytics, automation, and modernization solutions.

• Question assumptions and propose scalable solutions that align with both strategic and operational goals.

• Foster alignment among business partners, technical teams, and team members by articulating options, trade-offs, risks, dependencies, and recommendations.

• Design, develop, and support solutions utilizing Microsoft Power Platform technologies.

• Create secure, scalable integrations between enterprise systems employing APIs, Microsoft Graph, SharePoint, SQL-based data sources, and additional platforms.

• Oversee solutions by monitoring, troubleshooting, enhancing, planning releases, ensuring operational continuity, and maintaining stakeholder communication.

• Develop reusable solution patterns, components, and best practices.

• Engage in collaborative delivery methods through knowledge sharing, feedback, mentoring, and interdisciplinary partnerships.

• Ensure solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture, data strategy, security, privacy, governance, and compliance standards.

• Assess emerging technologies and suggest applications that enhance business outcomes and technical capabilities.

• Resolve complex technical issues and provide technical leadership.

• Support the sustainability, resiliency, and operational effectiveness of solutions through documentation, monitoring, support processes, and knowledge transfer.

• Contribute to the advancement of analytics, automation, and modernization capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing and developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and associated services.

• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Exceptional consulting, communication, and relationship management abilities.

• Capability to build trust, lead discovery discussions, influence decisions, and facilitate stakeholder alignment.

• Proficiency in connecting technology solutions to business objectives, operational outcomes, measurable value, and long-term sustainability.

• Skills to challenge assumptions and balance business needs with technical feasibility, governance, and maintainability.

• Experience in integrating enterprise systems via APIs, Microsoft Graph, SharePoint, SQL-based data sources, and modern integration technologies.

• Familiarity with implementing application lifecycle management, development standards, governance standards, and CI/CD methodologies.

• Ability to take ownership of solutions through discovery, design, building, testing, deployment, support, documentation, enhancement, and knowledge transfer.

• Strong collaboration skills, including knowledge sharing, mentoring, and contributing to reusable patterns.

• Preferred: Experience with Databricks, SQL, Spark SQL, Python, SAS, or VBA.

• Preferred: Understanding of enterprise data strategy, analytics engineering, cloud-based data solutions, and modern integration patterns.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting low-code, automation, AI-assisted, or citizen development initiatives in a governed enterprise context.

• Preferred: Experience in developing intake, prioritization, governance, support, or operational processes.

• Preferred: Experience in facilitating workshops, process mapping, root-cause discussions, or solution design reviews.

• Salary range of $108,160.00–$162,240.00, with geographic-specific pay structures of $118,960.00–$178,440.00 and $124,400.00–$186,600.00 where applicable.
