Senior Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead technical demonstrations and proof-of-concept initiatives for AI-driven customer support solutions.

• Collaborate with the sales team to convert customer needs into customized offerings.

• Define engagements that address customer challenges and deliver measurable return on investment.

• Interact with customers, ranging from VPs of Support to CTOs, to grasp their business objectives and technical specifications.

• Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.

• Conduct proof-of-concept engagements as the main technical resource.

• Develop implementation plans that document requirements and delineate the project scope.

• Ensure seamless transitions to Forward Deployed Engineers and post-sales support teams.

• Create and adjust demo applications utilizing AI-assisted development tools.

• Collect customer feedback to guide product enhancement and development efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.

• Skilled in NodeJS/NextJS/TypeScript.

• Foundational understanding of the software development lifecycle, cloud infrastructure, and basic security principles.

• Conceptual knowledge of enterprise AI solutions, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, and knowledge retrieval.

• Prior experience in sales engineering or pre-sales roles.

• Proven history of contributing to successful sales results.

• Comfortable presenting technical information to senior-level audiences.

• Capable of managing competing priorities with minimal supervision.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster relationships and influence decision-makers.

• Familiar with NodeJS/NextJS/TypeScript.

• Regularly utilizes AI-assisted development tools.

• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and development workflows.

• Fundamental knowledge of cloud infrastructure concepts (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Awareness of basic security posturing and compliance considerations.

• Ability to read, comprehend, and explain code, including AI-generated code.

• Experience with REST APIs.
