Senior Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with customers and potential clients throughout Taiwan to identify challenges in software delivery, DevOps, DevSecOps, and software supply chain.

• Provide guidance to developers, DevOps teams, security personnel, architects, engineering leaders, and senior technical stakeholders.

• Oversee the technical sales process from initial discovery and solution design to demonstrations, technical validation, proofs-of-concept, and achieving technical success.

• Work alongside Account Executives to assess opportunities, establish technical success criteria, meet requirements, and convey the JFrog Platform’s technical and business advantages.

• Create and showcase solutions that encompass CI/CD, cloud-native platforms, application security, and software supply chain security.

• Facilitate customer workshops, architectural discussions, technical deep dives, and high-level presentations.

• Assist clients in assessing JFrog integrations with development, security, cloud, and DevOps environments.

• Cultivate relationships with customer advocates and foster long-term technical support.

• Represent JFrog at customer events, conferences, webinars, partner interactions, and executive briefings.

• Relay customer and market insights to Product and Engineering teams to help shape product strategy.

• Keep up-to-date with developments in DevOps, DevSecOps, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, software supply chain security, and AI-enhanced software development.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience, including Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Presales, DevOps, software engineering, platform engineering, cloud, or application security.

• At least 4 years in a client-facing technical role, preferably in support of enterprise technology sales.

• Capability to independently oversee the technical components of intricate enterprise sales opportunities.

• Robust hands-on knowledge of contemporary DevOps and software delivery methodologies.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD platforms, Git-based workflows, build tools, and artifact/package management.

• Experience in designing, articulating, or implementing software delivery pipelines and integrating various tools within the software development lifecycle.

• Practical experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Knowledge of application security and software supply chain security, including SCA, SBOM, container security, vulnerability management, or application security testing.

• Proficient in conveying complex technical ideas to technical audiences and senior stakeholders.

• Strong skills in discovery, presentation, demonstration, and problem-solving.

• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with regional and global teams.

• Native or fluent Mandarin Taiwanese and proficient business English communication skills.

• Experience with enterprise clients in Taiwan and an understanding of the local technology landscape.
