Senior Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Act as the technical leader for a specific geographic area.

• Design system layouts and provide recommendations for professional audio projects.

• Generate acoustic simulation models and performance forecasts utilizing EASE and similar software.

• Assess project specifications and create bills of material and system suggestions.

• Assist consultants, system integrators, distributors, and end users with system design and product application advice.

• Present technical information, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept initiatives.

• Offer technical support throughout project design, commissioning, and optimization stages.

• Collaborate with sales teams to leverage strategic opportunities and enhance customer adoption of Electro-Voice and Dynacord solutions.

• Guide, mentor, and provide technical direction to regional Solutions Engineers.

• Manage workload, project assignments, and regional priorities.

• Establish uniform engineering practices, documentation standards, and customer engagement strategies.

• Assist in the onboarding, development, and performance coaching of regional team members.

• Communicate resource requirements, market trends, and customer insights to the Global Director.

• Conduct training on products, software, and system designs.

• Facilitate certification and competency development initiatives.

• Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and customer workshops.

• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Training, and Technical Support teams.

• Provide market insights regarding customer demands, competitive landscape, and product opportunities.

• Contribute to technical documentation, application guides, and knowledge base content.

• Aid in introducing new products through training, demonstrations, and early customer deployments.

• Travel across the Asia Pacific region as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Acoustics, Audio Technology, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.

• At least 8 years of professional experience in the fields of professional audio and AV engineering.

• Proven experience in designing and specifying intricate audio systems.

• Solid understanding of acoustics, loudspeaker systems, DSP platforms, networking principles, and audio transport technologies.

• Experience in supporting consultants, system integrators, distributors, and end users.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.

• Prior experience in leading, mentoring, or managing technical engineering teams is preferred.

• Familiarity with EASE, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar design tools is preferred.

• Relevant industry certifications such as AVIXA CTS, Dante Certification, EASE, networking certifications, or equivalent are preferred.

• Experience with enterprise, commercial, hospitality, transportation, education, worship, or stadium applications is an advantage.

• Proficiency in English is required.

• Proficiency in Mandarin is strongly preferred.
