Senior Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee technical discovery and qualification processes with both business and technical stakeholders.

• Design customer solutions that encompass architecture, project scope, delivery models, team configurations, technical specifications, timelines, risks, and dependencies.

• Determine if customer requirements are best met through Talent Solutions, AI Solutions, Learning & Assessment Solutions, or a hybrid approach.

• Conduct architecture discussions, technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, prototypes, proposals, and responses to RFPs.

• Collaborate with Delivery and specialized teams to confirm proposed methodologies and ensure clarity in opportunities.

• Contribute to technical evaluations, AI-assisted qualification processes, discovery frameworks, demonstrations, internal tools, and automation efforts.

• Develop reusable playbooks, technical documentation, solution patterns, and enhance sales-to-delivery workflows.

• Provide customer insights back to Andela to refine offerings, technology, and go-to-market strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of relevant professional experience, including substantial expertise in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Solution Architecture, technical consulting, professional services, engineering leadership, or another customer-facing technical position.

• Strong technical proficiency in modern software development, cloud architecture, data platforms, APIs, and AI-enabled systems.

• Proven ability to independently manage technical discovery and convert ambiguous business challenges into actionable solution strategies.

• Experience in assessing architecture, evaluating technical trade-offs, understanding dependencies, risks, and delivery considerations.

• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills for customer-facing interactions, capable of engaging both senior business leaders and highly technical audiences.

• Experience collaborating across functions with Sales, Delivery, Product, Engineering, or related teams.

• Knowledge of contemporary AI technologies including generative AI, LLM-based applications, agents, retrieval systems, AI-assisted software development, or similar platforms.

• Comfortable experimenting with technical tools, APIs, automation, prototypes, or AI-enabled workflows.

• A builder mindset and adaptability to operate in a dynamic environment where processes, offerings, and tools are still in development.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
