Senior Solutions Architect – Services Presales – Datacenter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the creation of Statements of Work (SOWs) that align with client needs and business goals.

• Drive revenue from professional services by identifying new opportunities and broadening service offerings.

• Collaborate with stakeholder teams to develop, enhance, and position service offerings effectively.

• Work alongside sales, customer success, and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery and client engagement.

• Contribute to the development of practices through innovation, advancement of services, standards, and best practices.

• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with clients and strategic partners.

• Provide thought leadership in service delivery, infrastructure modernization, and cloud technologies.

• Assess business challenges and recommend technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and outcomes.

• Conduct technical assessments and guide the evaluation, selection, and implementation of hardware and software technologies.

• Monitor emerging technologies and architectural practices, recommending modernization opportunities and strategic technology investments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and relevant work experience.

• Over 7 years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Systems Engineering, or a similar technical consulting position.

• More than 7 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure solutions.

• Experience in supporting cloud, virtualization, networking, storage, and security initiatives.

• Proven ability to oversee and manage complex sales opportunities from qualification to completion.

• Proven capability to identify, document, and manage both technical and business requirements through stakeholder engagement and solution discovery.

• Proficient in developing Statements of Work (SOWs) and driving professional services engagements.

• Extensive experience leading large-scale infrastructure, cloud, and modernization projects.

• In-depth knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation and core VMware technologies.

• Strong understanding of networking, storage, security, business continuity, and disaster recovery architectures.

• Exceptional client-facing communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

• Ability to engage effectively with executives, architects, engineers, and infrastructure teams.

• Experience in leading discovery workshops, assessments, and solution design engagements.

• Capability to evaluate emerging technologies and devise modernization strategies aligned with business objectives.

• Willingness to travel as necessary to support clients, engagements, and business goals.
