Senior Solutions Architect, Search Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop systems, applications, and infrastructure utilizing MongoDB and the Atlas data platform

• Provide guidance to clients on architectures, patterns, and strategies for implementing MongoDB

• Communicate the business advantages of MongoDB solutions

• Assist sales through technical exploration, demonstrations, proof of value, presentations, sizing, and documentation of technical decision criteria

• Convert technical ideas into business advantages for management and executives

• Gather field insights and communicate them to Product Management

• Engage in trade shows and account-based marketing initiatives

• Mentor and support pre-sales team members while sharing best practices

• Equip solutions architects with technical and business knowledge related to search and create demonstration tools

• Work in collaboration with Product Management on Search and AI strategies

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in search or information retrieval (Elasticsearch, Lucene, Solr, Algolia, Milvus, Qdrant, or similar)

• More than 3 years of experience in software development or pre-sales with enterprise software

• Exceptional communication skills in both English and Spanish

• Proficiency in coding with two or more contemporary scripting languages and/or popular programming languages

• Strong understanding of the application of AI agents in everyday tasks

• Experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems

• Outstanding presentation and interpersonal abilities

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

• Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time
