Senior Solutions Architect, Managed Service Providers

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the technical leadership for MSP opportunities from start to finish, which includes discovery, solution design, sizing, competitive positioning, proofs of concept, and achieving technical closure.

• Define a comprehensive service architecture that encompasses multi-tenancy, automation, provisioning, operational models, and integration with existing MSP frameworks.

• Model and influence commercial structures, including unit economics, cost per tenant, Evergreen//One, and consumption models.

• Outmaneuver competitors in MSP settings and effectively position FlashArray, FlashBlade, Portworx, and Everpure Data Intelligence.

• Establish technical credibility with MSP architects, practice leaders, and CTOs.

• Cultivate technical champions on the partner side.

• Provide MSP requirements to the global MSP program and Product Management.

• Contribute reusable intellectual property such as reference architectures, sizing guides, and service blueprints derived from live engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in pre-sales, solutions architecture, or technical leadership roles.

• Proven track record of securing partner-led business.

• Direct experience working with Managed Service Providers (MSPs).

• Understanding of how MSPs construct, price, operate, and market managed services.

• Proficiency in block, file, and object storage technologies.

• Experience with hybrid and cloud data services.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and storage-as-a-service models.

• Commercial understanding of consumption economics, total cost of ownership (TCO), and margin dynamics.

• Exceptional written, diagrammatic, and verbal communication skills.

• Executive presence during interactions with CTOs and in technical whiteboard sessions.

• An entrepreneurial mindset and ambitious approach.

• Capability to build a practice from the ground up.
