Senior Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Facilitate technical discovery workshops that address customer requirements, workflows, integrations, security considerations, and business objectives.

• Create scalable cloud solutions that align with customer needs and the capabilities of the Reuters Imagen platform.

• Serve as the technical lead throughout the sales process by providing demonstrations, engaging in technical discussions, and instilling confidence in customers.

• Collaborate with Commercial and Account teams on proposals, RFP responses, statements of work, solution designs, and effort estimates.

• Provide guidance to customers regarding deployment, hosting, integration, and configuration strategies.

• Advocate for sustainable, configuration-led solutions instead of custom development.

• Recognize technical risks and formulate strategies to mitigate them.

• Ensure a seamless transition from sales to implementation and delivery.

• Act as a trusted technical advisor for strategic accounts during complex implementations, feature adoption, and continuous optimization.

• Work together with Product and Engineering teams to share customer insights and influence product direction.

• Contribute to presales tools, technical playbooks, and market expertise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in requirements elicitation, solutions architecture, pre-sales engineering, or technical sales support for enterprise or SaaS software.

• Proven success in closing or significantly contributing to complex technical deals in the US and North American market.

• In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure, hosting architectures, and storage solutions; familiarity with AWS and Azure is essential.

• Strong proficiency in data modeling, cross-system data reconciliation, and integration design, including API patterns, data attribute mapping, and business process dependencies.

• Capable of delivering product demonstrations and addressing technical objections from developers to executives.

• Experience in creating technical proposals, statements of work, architecture diagrams, solution blueprints, and RFP responses.

• Comfortable working post-sale in a technical advisory role alongside delivery teams.

• Fluent in professional English.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and across different time zones.

• Proven experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot for research, analysis, and workflow efficiency.

• Preferred: experience in the sports, media, broadcast, or content management technology sectors.

• Preferred: knowledge of video codecs, transcoding, metadata standards, live ingest protocols, and content delivery workflows.

• Preferred: understanding of AI services and their applications in video processing, automated tagging, data enrichment, and intelligent content discovery.

• Preferred: experience with Salesforce, Azure DevOps, and Monday.com.

• Preferred: familiarity with SAML/SSO, access control models, and enterprise media security and compliance requirements.
