Senior Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Define and enhance the architecture of web applications and APIs.

• Lead initiatives for technology modernization and digital transformation.

• Create solutions utilizing React, Node.js, and cloud services.

• Establish development standards, integration patterns, and best practices in software engineering.

• Assist development teams in making technical decisions and resolving intricate challenges.

• Ensure that security, scalability, availability, and performance requirements are achieved.

• Contribute to the formulation of architectures based on microservices, REST APIs, and messaging systems.

• Engage in technical reviews, solution architecture tasks, and technology governance activities.

• Collaborate with business, product, infrastructure, and security teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in breaking down legacy monoliths and transforming them into cloud-native systems at scale.

• Experience in migrating a critical system of record, such as fiscal, accounting, or banking systems.

• Familiarity with the Strangler Fig pattern and branch-by-abstraction techniques.

• Understanding of rollout strategies.

• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design principles (bounded contexts, ACL) and/or Independent Service Heuristics.

• Experience in designing strategies for data and event coexistence, along with an understanding of CDC trade-offs.

• Experience in equivalence/parity testing against a golden master.

• Ability to define falsifiable Proofs of Concept (PoCs) with clear exit criteria.

• Experience with REST architecture and integration from desktop to cloud.

• Advanced proficiency in English (reading, speaking, and writing).

• Familiarity with PowerBuilder or an equivalent 4GL/desktop stack (such as Delphi) is advantageous.

• Knowledge of SAP SQL Anywhere / Sybase ASA is a plus.

• Experience with PostgreSQL is a plus.

• Understanding of the Brazilian tax and accounting domain is a plus.
