Senior Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and implementation of digital banking solutions.

• Convert business requirements into scalable, secure, and innovative technology architectures.

• Define and document comprehensive architecture for mobile banking applications, online banking platforms, and backend services.

• Ensure that solutions are aligned with business objectives, compliance standards, and industry best practices.

• Gather requirements and convert them into actionable technical solutions.

• Provide guidance to clients and internal teams regarding architectural decisions and technology strategy.

• Assess emerging technologies and suggest enhancements to scalability, performance, and security.

• Lead the selection of tools, platforms, and frameworks.

• Design integration strategies for core banking systems, payment gateways, identity management solutions, and third-party APIs.

• Ensure seamless integration across various channels.

• Establish architectural principles, design patterns, and coding standards.

• Monitor adherence to security, regulatory, and data privacy requirements, including PCI DSS and GDPR.

• Build and nurture relationships with technology vendors.

• Execute project management tasks and engage in strategic planning activities.

• Offer guidance and expertise to less experienced technology professionals.

• Plan, schedule, assign, monitor, and direct team members' activities on technical and operational projects as needed.

• Perform additional assigned duties and partake in organizational activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of five years of extensive experience in application analysis, systems development, systems design, or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Five years of experience with leading technology platforms and a diverse range of technologies, including significant expertise in software development and design methodologies.

• Background in operational/technology strategy and architecture development, ideally within the financial services sector.

• Familiarity with project management and development methodologies.

• Strong understanding of the banking industry.

• Proficient technical skills in Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.

• Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.

• Capable of presenting information and addressing inquiries from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

• Ability to build and maintain credibility with both internal and external customers.

• Excellent presentation skills.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, and Outlook.

• Understanding of banking industry processes and associated enterprise systems.

• Capacity to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Ability to operate relevant equipment.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents.

• Capability to lift/move/carry approximately 10 pounds if necessary.
