Senior Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical discovery, demonstrations, and validation processes for GitLab's AI-enhanced DevSecOps platform.

• Conduct technical assessments, including solution architecture, proofs of concept or value, workshops, tenders, audits, and value stream evaluations.

• Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams throughout Italy to strategize on customer acquisition and growth.

• Establish relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders to facilitate GitLab-driven transformation.

• Provide expert guidance to customers on software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud methodologies.

• Relay customer insights, use cases, and competitive information to Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams.

• Develop reusable technical examples, best-practice recommendations, and create collateral for customers and partners.

• Engage in ongoing learning, mentorship, and the sharing of knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience interacting with customers in technical pre-sales, consulting, or related roles, guiding them through the design and evaluation of solutions.

• Expertise in the complete software development lifecycle, including contemporary DevSecOps methodologies and CI/CD workflows.

• Practical experience with GitLab or similar platforms for source control, continuous integration and deployment, and collaboration.

• Ability to align platform functionalities with customer use cases effectively.

• Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and associated technologies.

• Capability to discuss deployment, security, and operational options with technical teams.

• Proficient in leading proofs of concept or value, contributing to tenders or audits, and designing and conducting workshops or value stream assessments.

• Strong technical communication and presentation abilities.

• Proficiency in building trusted relationships, demonstrating empathy, and serving as a customer advocate.

• Desire to continuously advance professionally and acquire new technological knowledge.

• Fluency in Arabic.
