Senior Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable consultant for GitLab prospects and clients

• Demonstrate how GitLab's AI-driven DevSecOps platform fulfills technical needs and business goals

• Assist organizations in navigating digital transformation throughout the software development lifecycle

• Oversee technical discovery, demonstrations, validations, solution design, proofs of concept or value, workshops, tenders, audits, and value stream assessments

• Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams across Italy on account strategies, customer acquisition, and growth

• Cultivate relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders

• Provide guidance to clients on software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud practices

• Relay customer feedback, use cases, and competitive insights to Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing

• Develop reusable examples, best-practice guidance, and technical materials

• Commit to continuous learning, mentorship, and knowledge sharing

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in engaging with customers in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles, guiding them through solution design and assessment

• Knowledge of the complete software development lifecycle, including contemporary DevSecOps practices and CI/CD workflows

• Hands-on experience with GitLab or similar source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms

• Practical understanding of cloud computing concepts and associated technologies

• Capability to lead technical assessments such as proofs of concept or proofs of value, contribute to tenders or audits, and design and facilitate workshops or value stream evaluations

• Strong technical communication and presentation abilities

• Proficiency in building trusted relationships and serving as a customer advocate

• Experience within the MEA region

• Proficiency in Arabic and English is required

• Willingness to travel at least 25%
