Senior Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical discovery process, demonstrations, and validation of GitLab's AI-driven DevSecOps platform.

• Take ownership of technical evaluations, encompassing solution design, proofs of concept or proofs of value, workshops, tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.

• Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams throughout South Korea on strategies for enterprise accounts.

• Support and empower GitLab's go-to-market partners in South Korea while ensuring consistent technical delivery.

• Represent GitLab at both online and in-person marketing events.

• Establish trusted relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders.

• Provide guidance to customers on modern software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud practices.

• Relay customer feedback, use cases, and competitive insights to Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience engaging with enterprise customers in technical presales, consulting, or similar roles, guiding them through solution design and evaluation.

• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, including modern DevSecOps practices, continuous integration and continuous deployment workflows, and familiarity with GitLab or equivalent source control and collaboration platforms.

• Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and associated technologies, including deployment, security, and operations options.

• Capability to lead technical evaluations such as proofs of concept or proofs of value, contribute to tenders or audits, and design and execute workshops or value stream assessments.

• Excellent technical communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to tailor messages for both practitioners and senior business and technical decision-makers.

• Driven to pursue ongoing professional development by learning new technologies and enhancing expertise in the GitLab platform.

• Proficiency in both Korean and English.
