Senior Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams to formulate technical account strategies that enhance qualified pipeline and facilitate expansion opportunities.

• Conduct technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and validation activities.

• Manage technical evaluations, encompassing proof of concept and proof of value activities, solution design, and workshop facilitation.

• Create solution architectures that are in line with customer environments, priorities, and operational models.

• Advise customers on contemporary software development practices, continuous integration, continuous deployment, security, and cloud adoption.

• Establish relationships with technical practitioners and business stakeholders.

• Develop reusable technical examples, best practices, and customer-facing materials.

• Share customer feedback, field insights, and market observations with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2+ years of presales or equivalent client-facing experience.

• A total of 5+ years of industry experience.

• Experience collaborating with customers in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar client-facing positions.

• Competency in conducting technical evaluations, including proofs of concept, proofs of value, workshops, tenders, audits, or value stream assessments.

• A working understanding of the complete software development lifecycle.

• Familiarity with DevSecOps methodologies and continuous integration and continuous deployment processes.

• Knowledge of generative AI and agentic technologies is advantageous.

• Practical experience with GitLab or comparable DevSecOps or software delivery platforms.

• Capability to tailor technical messages for practitioners, technical stakeholders, and senior business leaders.

• A commitment to continuous learning and cultivating expertise in GitLab, AI, and associated cloud technologies.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, self-managed environments, or relevant experience from related technical fields is appreciated.
