Senior Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Provide technical guidance for the development of a new Fixed Income Platform from the ground up.

• Design and implement essential system components in Java, ensuring optimal performance and resilience.

• Coordinate and enhance the AI-driven development pipeline.

• Generate code prompts, assess outputs, and streamline testing processes.

• Establish API integration standards and communication bus interfaces with Fixed Income collaborators and data suppliers.

• Facilitate Architecture Reviews, technical refinement meetings, and alignment of coding standards.

• Guarantee adherence to cybersecurity best practices and regulatory standards within the financial industry.

• Engage in discovery meetings with the Product Owner/Project Manager and assist in high-level technical effort evaluation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in Java, ideally version 11 or newer.

• Strong understanding of the Spring framework, encompassing Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, and Spring Security.

• Familiarity with development tools and large language models (LLMs), including Gemini, Claude, GitHub Copilot, and ChatGPT Enterprise.

• Experience in prompt engineering for code, testing, and documentation creation.

• Robust experience with microservices architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), REST APIs, and design patterns.

• Background in process automation and working with RabbitMQ, Kafka, and integrations involving multiple vendors and third-party APIs.

• Proficient in Git and methodologies such as GitFlow or trunk-based development.

• Practical experience with CI/CD practices using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.

• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), unit and integration testing, SonarQube, Clean Code principles, and design patterns.

• Familiarity with JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers, and Spring Test.

• Understanding of DevSecOps, AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and observability tools.

• Experience with monitoring, logging, distributed tracing, metrics, alerts, and Application Performance Management (APM).

• Knowledge of authentication and authorization methods using Okta, OAuth 2.0, JWT, or OpenID Connect.

• Experience with Google Cloud and practical experience setting up service meshes like Istio.

• Familiarity with BigQuery for extensive data analysis is advantageous.

• Experience or knowledge of financial markets, especially in Fixed Income and Credit, is beneficial.
