This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Lead and implement customer technical projects, including the deployment of Airbyte solutions.
• Support customers throughout their journey with technical guidance and hands-on assistance.
• Advise clients on integrating LLM-based tools into their existing data infrastructure using Airbyte connectors.
• Collaborate directly with clients’ technical teams to assess needs and customize solutions.
• Ensure technical success by working with Technical Support, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Assist clients in evaluating and adopting AI agent frameworks to create autonomous data agents utilizing Airbyte as a data source.
• Partner with Sales to identify and pursue opportunities for customer growth.
• Serve as the internal authority on customer technical requirements, expectations, and necessary functionalities.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to highlight customer needs and influence the product roadmap.
• Showcase Airbyte’s offerings and best practices to clients and at industry events.
• Act as a brand ambassador and build relationships with key stakeholders.
• Promote best practices for constructing AI-ready data stacks.
• Create and present technical content, including blog posts, demos, and presentations at conferences.
• Over 6 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as resident solutions architect, professional services engineer, or consulting role.
• More than 2 years of experience in a startup environment, preferably in modern data infrastructure.
• Familiarity with cloud applications, databases, ELT tools, data warehouses, or related areas.
• Practical experience with one or more AI frameworks.
• Exposure to AI agent frameworks and best practices in prompt engineering is a significant advantage.
• Proven history of supporting products that directly enhance business productivity.
• Exceptional customer focus, emphasizing smooth onboarding and ongoing technical success.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation abilities.
• Extensive expertise in Kubernetes, including troubleshooting production workloads, pods, networking, storage, and resource management.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL, CDC, database replication, and data synchronization concepts.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, OAuth, API keys, JWT, webhooks, and JSON.
• Availability to support East Coast Timezone.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. or disclose sponsorship requirements.
