Senior Solutions Architect – AI, GenAI Specialism

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Lead engagements in AI and GenAI as the primary area of expertise within the Professional Services team.

• Contribute to AWS migration, modernization, Landing Zone, and cloud governance projects.

• Manage the client-facing pre-sales process for AI/GenAI initiatives.

• Conduct scoping discussions and translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Create solutions utilizing Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and related AWS services.

• Estimate effort and generate commercially viable Statements of Work.

• Offer strategic advisory services to clients.

• Serve as a fractional CTO or technical program lead for key accounts.

• Maintain long-term advisory relationships while identifying opportunities for expansion.

• Define technical direction for delivery engineers and assess architectural decisions.

• Resolve delivery challenges and ensure compliance with SOW deliverables.

• Engage in hands-on delivery as capacity permits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing and delivering AWS solutions within a consultancy, Professional Services, or partner context.

• Strong expertise in Amazon Bedrock, encompassing Agents, Knowledge Bases, Guardrails, and model selection.

• Solid understanding of Amazon SageMaker, including training, inference, and pipelines.

• Familiarity with agentic AI patterns, tool utilization, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation methodologies, and production deployment factors.

• Strong foundation in core AWS services, including compute, networking, storage, security, identity, and serverless architecture.

• Demonstrated ability to draft detailed and commercially sound Statements of Work.

• Confidence in customer-facing settings, including discovery sessions, architecture presentations, and advising C-level executives.

• Experience with AWS agent frameworks and tools such as Strands SDK, Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, and Amazon Quick.

• Proven experience in setting technical direction for delivery teams and ensuring quality assurance of engineering outputs.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code; Terraform preferred, or CloudFormation/CDK.

• Background in delivering AWS migration programs, including MGN, wave-based migrations, and estate separation.

• Familiarity with AWS Landing Zone design, multi-account governance, Control Tower, or FinOps.

• Experience in regulated industries is a plus.

• AWS certifications such as ML Specialty or Solutions Architect Professional are advantageous.

• Previous experience in building or scaling a consultancy practice or capability area is preferred.
