Senior Solutions Architect – AI, GenAI Specialism

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Lead engagements in AI and GenAI as the main focus within the Professional Services team.

• Contribute to initiatives related to AWS migration, modernization, Landing Zone, and cloud governance.

• Manage the client-facing pre-sales cycle for AI/GenAI projects.

• Conduct scoping calls and convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Design solutions utilizing Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and related services.

• Estimate project effort and create commercially viable Statements of Work.

• Provide continuous strategic advisory support to clients.

• Serve as a fractional CTO or technical program lead for key accounts.

• Maintain long-term advisory relationships and identify opportunities for expansion.

• Establish technical direction for delivery engineers and review architecture decisions.

• Resolve delivery issues and ensure adherence to SOW deliverables.

• Engage in hands-on delivery when capacity permits.

• Navigate AWS partner funding programs to optimize the value of funded engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing and delivering AWS solutions within a consultancy, Professional Services, or partner setting.

• In-depth knowledge of Amazon Bedrock, including Agents, Knowledge Bases, Guardrails, and model selection.

• Strong familiarity with Amazon SageMaker, focusing on training, inference, and pipelines.

• Experience with agentic AI patterns, tool usage, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation methodologies, and production deployment considerations.

• Solid understanding of core AWS services, including compute, networking, storage, security, identity, and serverless technologies.

• Demonstrated ability to create detailed, commercially viable Statements of Work, encompassing scoping, estimating, deliverables, assumptions, and risks.

• Comfortable in customer-facing environments, including discovery sessions, architecture presentations, and advising C-level stakeholders.

• Familiarity with AWS agent frameworks and tools such as Strands SDK, Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, and Amazon Quick (desirable).

• Experience in setting technical direction for delivery teams and quality assurance of engineering output (desirable).

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code; Terraform is preferred, or CloudFormation/CDK (desirable).

• Background in delivering AWS migration programs, including MGN, wave-based migrations, and estate separation (desirable).

• Experience with AWS Landing Zone design, multi-account governance, Control Tower, or FinOps (desirable).

• Background in regulated sectors such as water, utilities, financial services, or healthcare (desirable).

• AWS certifications such as ML Specialty or Solutions Architect Professional, or equivalent (desirable).

• Previous experience in building or expanding a consultancy practice or capability area (desirable).

• Strong communication skills, commercial awareness, strategic thinking, autonomy, collaboration, and a focus on quality.
