Senior Solutions Architect – AI & Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Define, design, and manage the architecture of systems and applications for both current and future business needs.

• Assess new and emerging technologies along with development methodologies to create faster, cost-effective, and reliable solutions.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and quality assurance teams to ensure applications fulfill business requirements, are well-documented, and have ongoing support and maintenance processes in place.

• Promote efficient application and infrastructure design by aligning infrastructure roadmaps with application technology strategies, hardware vendor plans, and service capabilities.

• Identify and assess emerging technologies for their strategic alignment with organizational goals.

• Contribute to technology strategy by gathering requirements, compiling deployment plans, synthesizing business objectives, and defining operational strategies.

• Design, prototype, and validate solutions related to AI and automation.

• Establish reusable architecture patterns, technical standards, and engineering practices suitable for enterprise-scale adoption.

• Develop proof-of-concepts, prototypes, accelerators, and reference implementations.

• Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership from the concept phase through to production deployment.

• Oversee a team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly manage support staff.

⛳️ Requirements

• Typically requires a BS/BA in a relevant field.

• Usually requires over 7 years of experience in a related area.

• An advanced degree may compensate for less experience in certain disciplines.

• Experience in designing and implementing AI solutions utilizing Databricks, including AI/ML workloads, GenAI capabilities, Databricks Apps, Unity Catalog, and Lakehouse architecture.

• Proven experience in designing, building, and deploying AI-driven applications and intelligent agents using enterprise data platforms and modern AI frameworks.

• Experience in integrating AI solutions with enterprise data platforms, APIs, SaaS applications, and business systems.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Copilot extensibility, Agent Builder, and agent-based architectures.

• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP), agent orchestration patterns, and intelligent workflow automation.

• Understanding of RAG, prompt engineering, grounding techniques, memory patterns, and human-in-the-loop solution design.

• Ability to establish architecture standards, reference architectures, reusable design patterns, and implementation frameworks.

• Experience in balancing innovation, security, scalability, maintainability, and operational excellence.

• Skilled in creating technical standards and architectural guidance for emerging technologies and AI-enabled solutions.

• Capability to evaluate new technologies and devise practical enterprise adoption strategies.

• Experience in designing, building, and deploying production-level AI, automation, and cloud-based solutions.

• Background in developing proof-of-concepts, prototypes, accelerators, and reference implementations.

• Experience in mentoring development teams and providing technical leadership throughout the entire solution lifecycle.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across AI, data, cloud, and automation platforms.

• Experience in implementing Azure DevOps best practices, including source control, branching models, CI/CD pipelines, release management, and environment management.

• Established experience in setting software engineering standards and delivery practices.

• Experience in developing reusable frameworks, templates, and technical accelerators.
