Senior Solution Engineer, Financial Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Showcase the Snowflake technology and its vision to both executives and technical contributors at potential clients and existing customers.

• Engage directly with prospects and customers throughout the sales process, including demonstrations, proof of concept, design, and implementation.

• Clearly convey and illustrate the benefits of Snowflake technology.

• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors and strategically position Snowflake alongside them.

• Collaborate with teams in Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to enhance Snowflake products and promotional efforts.

• Partner with sales teams and channel partners to understand customer requirements and successfully navigate sales cycles.

• Assist in enterprise-level Proofs of Concept and facilitate business closures.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience in the industry, with at least 5 years in a pre-sales capacity.

• Exceptional presentation skills tailored for both technical and executive audiences.

• Over 5 years of experience in building and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions within cloud environments.

• A proactive curiosity about the AI landscape, with the ability to act as a visionary and technical thought partner.

• Proficiency in utilizing AI code generation tools.

• Extensive experience with large-scale database and/or data warehouse technologies, ETL processes, analytics, and cloud solutions.

• Hands-on experience with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python programming.

• Capability to link customer business challenges with appropriate Snowflake solutions.

• Expertise in conducting thorough investigations of customer architecture frameworks and aligning them with Snowflake Data Architecture.

• A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Experience working with Global System Integrators (GSIs) such as EY, Deloitte, or Accenture is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
