Senior Solution Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Communicate the Snowflake technology and vision to both executives and technical stakeholders at potential and existing customers.

• Engage directly with prospects and customers throughout the sales process, from demonstrations to proof of concept, design, and implementation.

• Analyze customer requirements and devise strategies to successfully navigate sales cycles.

• Deliver compelling, value-driven demonstrations.

• Assist with enterprise-level Proofs of Concept.

• Finalize business transactions and secure significant deals.

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors.

• Position Snowflake in relation to competitive and complementary technologies.

• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams to enhance Snowflake’s products and marketing efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7–8 years of experience in the industry, with at least 5 years in a pre-sales role.

• Exceptional presentation skills tailored for both technical and executive audiences.

• Extensive experience with large-scale database and/or data warehouse technologies, ETL, analytics, and cloud services.

• Knowledge of Data Lake, Data Mesh, and Data Fabric concepts.

• Proficient in SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.

• Capability to link customer business challenges to Snowflake’s solutions.

• Ability to perform thorough assessments of customer architecture frameworks and align them with Snowflake Data Architecture.

• A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Experience with Global System Integrators (GSIs) such as EY, Deloitte, or Accenture is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Candidates must reside in Atlanta, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, or South Carolina.

• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.

• Must adhere to Snowflake's confidentiality, security standards, and data security policies.
