Senior Solution Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Anchor engagements focusing on customer business outcomes rather than just product features.

• Manage the technical sales cycle, which includes discovery, solution design, demonstrations, validation, and proof of value.

• Build, cultivate, and sustain technical champions within accounts.

• Collaborate early with Sales as an integrated partner to shape account strategies and influence deal trajectories.

• Convert intricate technical solutions into persuasive business narratives suitable for both technical and executive audiences.

• Deliver tailored demonstrations and presentations that address specific customer pain points.

• Promote disciplined execution by utilizing structured methodologies like value hypothesis, stakeholder alignment, and opportunity visibility.

• Coordinate resources from Sales, Product, Customer Success, and ecosystem partners.

• Utilize AI and automation to enhance productivity and concentrate on high-value customer interactions.

• Collaborate with Sales and customers to gather requirements and effectively communicate BMC capabilities.

• Maintain ownership of technical relationships, execution quality, customer trust, and opportunity advancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in a presales role or a comparable technical position.

• Extensive knowledge of the client's technical architecture and emerging technologies, with the ability to discern feasibility.

• Expertise in the technology and business applications of one or more z/OS solutions.

• Proven skill in crafting and delivering engaging demonstrations.

• In-depth knowledge of z/OS solutions.

• Familiarity with BMC Software products is a plus.

• Ability to embody and promote BMC values consistently.
